He is an ocean of mercy, beautiful like a row of water-laden clouds. He is the delight of Lakshmi and Saraswati, His face is like a radiant, pure lotus. Worshipped by the best of gods, His exploits are sung by the Upanishads. May that Lord Jagannath be the object of my vision. (4)
रथारूढो गच्छन् पथि मिलित_भूदेव पटलैः स्तुति_प्रादुर्भावं प्रति_पदमुपाकर्ण्य सदयः । दया_सिन्धुर्बन्धुः सकल_जगतां सिन्धु_सुतया जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन_पथ_गामी भवतु मे ॥५॥

The crest-jewel of Brahman, His eyes like blooming blue lotus petals. He resides on Nilgiri hill, His feet resting on Ananta's head. He revels in divine mellows, finding joy in embracing Radha's form. May that Lord Jagannath be the object of my vision. (6)
न वै याचे राज्यं न च कनक_माणिक्य_विभवं न याचेऽहं रम्यां सकल_जन_काम्यां वरवधूम् । सदा काले काले प्रमथ_पतिना गीत_चरितो जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन_पथ_गामी भवतु मे ॥७॥

I do not ask for a kingdom, nor wealth of gold and jewels. I do not ask for a beautiful bride coveted by all men. His glories are always sung by Lord Shiva. May that Lord Jagannath be the object of my vision. (7)
हर त्वं संसारं द्रुततरमसारं सुरपते हर त्वं पापानां विततिमपरां यादवपते । अहो दीनेऽनाथे निहित_चरणो निश्चितमिदं जगन्नाथः स्वामी नयन_पथ_गामी भवतु मे ॥८॥

O Lord of gods, quickly remove this worthless cycle of existence! O Lord of the Yadus, remove my vast sins! It is certain You place Your feet upon the helpless. May that Lord Jagannath be the object of my vision. (8)
