Legends & Details
Based on Gajendra Moksha, Vishnu is believed to have appeared to Gajendra the elephant also called Indradyumna, the crocodile called Huhu, Sage Parasara and Anjaneya. The temple is one of the Panchakanna (Krishnaranya) Kshetrams, the five holy temples associated with Krishna, an avatar of Vishnu.
